Autoniq Installation Instructions
Android OS Phones (Motorola Droid, HTC Eris, HTC Hero, Samsung Moment, My Touch 3G)
To Install the Autoniq VIN Scanner
- Press the Home button (if not already on home page)
- Tap "Market"
- Tap "Search" (magnifying glass)
- Enter "Autoniq" in search bar (Autoniq will appear)
- Tap "Autoniq" (Autoniq icon will appear)
- Tap "Autoniq icon"
- Tap "Install"
- Tap "Ok"
- When you see "Application installed" message, tap "Open" to start the application.
- Review License Agreement and Terms of Use and tap "Accept"
- Once you've scanned a VIN, the Autoniq service will appear automatically.
- To scan another VIN, just tap the Back Key
- To suspend the Autoniq VIN Scanner tap the Home Key or the Back Key
Note: The Autoniq VIN Scanner automatically puts the phone to sleep after 2 minutes of inactivity. The Autoniq VIN Scanner resumes when you reactivate the phone.
To Move the Autoniq VIN Scanner to Your Home Page
- Tap the Home Key
- Tap the Gray Arrow box at the bottom of the screen
- Tap and Hold for 1 Second the Autoniq VIN Scanner Icon (it will move to your home page)
- Tap the Gray Arrow box at the top of the page to go back to the Home Page
- Ta Da! The Autoniq VIN Scanner is on your Home Page
When you launch and use the Autoniq VIN Scanner, the Autoniq subscription service automatically launches after a successful scan.

To Install the Autoniq VIN Scanner
- Press the Home button (if not already on home page)
- Tap "App Store"
- Tap "Search" (magnifying glass)
- Enter "Autoniq" in search bar
- Tap "Search" (Autoniq icon will appear)
- Tap "Autoniq icon"
- Tap "Free" (Free changes to Install)
- Tap "Install"
- If you have an iTunes password, you may be prompted for it. Enter and tap "Ok"
- Autoniq VIN Scanner will download to your Home Page
To Move the Autoniq VIN Scanner to Your First Page
You may have multiple pages of applications on your iPhone (designated by the dots on the bottom of the screen). To move the Autoniq VIN Scanner to the first page, press the Autoniq VIN Scanner icon until the icons jiggle. Then drag and drop the Autoniq VIN Scanner icon to the first page.
When you launch and use the Autoniq VIN Scanner, the Autoniq subscription service automatically launches after a successful scan.
